Where are revenue and profit slipping away?
Profit Stacker 12 is my own system for finding the profit already inside a business. It looks at your business through 12 profit levers, so you can see which ones are worth pulling first, and in what order.
Small gains on several levers multiply together, rather than simply adding up.
It works like compound interest. Offered $1 million in cash today, or a penny that doubles every day for 30 days, most people take the million, yet the penny ends at more than $5.3 million. A few modest improvements, each one building on the last, can add up to far more than any one of them alone.
The 12 profit levers
- Cut costs
- A market-dominating position
- A compelling offer
- Increase prices
- Upsell and cross-sell
- Bundling
- Downsell
- Additional products and services
- Drip campaigns
- Alliances and joint ventures
- More leads
- Digital marketing
The first and the fourth, cutting costs and raising prices, go straight to the bottom line, which is why we usually look at them first. More leads and more marketing come last, once the business can make the most of them.
The Profit Stacker 12 Simulator
It opens with an example business: $2 million in revenue, a 40% gross margin and a 10% net margin. Replace those three numbers with your own, from your profit and loss statement. Every lever starts at a modest 3%, so you will see the effect straight away. Then move the slider, or change any lever on its own, and watch how the gains stack up.
This is an illustration, not a forecast. It shows what small changes could do on paper, using the numbers you enter. Your real results will depend on your market, your team and many things a calculator cannot see, so please treat it as the start of a conversation rather than a promise. Nothing you type here leaves your browser.

Deep dive your profits with meSee what small changes would do to your profit
In a 30-minute consultation, we put your own numbers into the Profit Stacker 12 Simulator, so you can see for yourself what small changes to prices and costs would do to your profit. For a business on a 10% net margin, raising prices by 5% and trimming costs by 5% roughly doubles profit, with no extra sales.
